What phone do you have? I did not have a problem on the iphone. You do need to check your operating system is sufficiently up to date though. For iOS it is  version 7 and above, so you would have to be well out of date for it not to work, as the current version is 10.  No idea for Android, as don't have one, although I would think it would be a similar situation.

Are you possibly low on memory, as it works offline it is 140MB in size.

As a result of this thread I thought I'd check out the app. Well I shan't bother to download it rating is 2.3 and comments are generally that it doesn't work 😯. I'll take my chances if I'm away on the webpages on my phone and sites directory and map. If the webpages don't work the handbook znd map do, even with a power cut at night - torch or candle make it easy 😉

I don't use it and as SteveL says check your phone isn't too old to support it.
