Back on board

Having owned touring caravans for almost 20 years (1990-2009), and being a club member during this time, in 2009 my wife and I gave up caravanning, and bought a five berth motor cruiser, which we kept, and used on the Broads for five years.

No longer owning the boat, we recently decided to give camping/touring another go, bought a two berth Motorhome, and rejoined the club.

Whether or not we will take to it, not having the convenience of the car with us, remains to be seen, but we will likely enjoy the convenience of the motor home, in terms of setting up on site, and not having to lug Aquarolls, and Wastemasters back and forth (lol)

Welcome back, Dave.

You've highlighted some of the advantages of a MH and, if yours is not too big, you shouldn’t have trouble getting around.

Thanks for the welcome. Its nice to be back, and looking forward to getting out and about again. We deliberately decided on a maximum length of 6m for the motorhome, and our is 5.98m, and 2.38m wide, so shouldn't be too much of a problem when out and about. We take delivery of it on Saturday.
