Hi,

We've just collected our first van this weekend and are so far chuffed to bits, lot to remember and take in though.  Looking forward to experiencing the caravaning life and hope to get to meet lots of you along the way!

Welcome. We brought our first van a few months ago. Two things that I found most helpful were attending a towing course and drawing up a checklist, aircraft style for coupling up as there is a lot to remember before setting off. Happy

Hi Shelley.  Congratulations on your new van and welcome to Club Together.  Great to hear from you - do let us know how you get on with the caravan.

Welcome to CT, Shelly, and congratulations on getting your new van. Have you booked a site yet? Would suggest you book one localish to your home & dealer so that should anything important have been forgotten, or be amiss, you can either go and collect it of call on the dealer easily to get your problem sorted.

Hello Shelley, congratulations on taking receipt of your new toy  and welcome to the Club and CT.

Do you have plans to use your van through the winter months or wait until warmer weather comes along. A shame if it's the latter as camping thrpough the colder months can be great fun. Whatever yoy do, enjoy to the full.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes.

We're planning on using all year round but havent yet booked a site, hope to be doing so in the next week or so.  We're aiming to have plenty of long weekends away as well as the odd longer break.  So far we've been sitting in it on the drive way admiring it, lol probably getting the odd look from neighbours too mind but hey ho.

So many thinks to consider and have lists for my lists but I'm sure once we're using it it will all become second nature - hope so anyway.

Thanks for the tips too, we're definately going to do a couple of local trips so we can find out feet and not be too far away from either home or my parents home who are also caravaners.

I'm sure I'll be on here again soon asking ridiculous questions.

Look forward to meeting lots of you!
