A hopeful new motor home owner to be

I have just registered with the caravan club and I'm glad I did. We are planning to buy a motor home and go off and do a bit off European travelling. We have never done anything like this before so are understandaby a bit nervous. What we would like to do is firstly combine a holiday in the sun, France or Spain with the experience of travelling in a motor home. I have used the net and quite frankly I'm now boggled. Would anybody out there know of any websites I could look at to hire motor homes for a couple of weeks. I would be very grateful.
