Would it be good if we could change our names?

Interesting too see the increasing number of people (including myself) who have chosen a particular user name for CT and then prefer to sign off a post with our first name.

I must admit that since I have been on here for a few months, I would now quite like to change my user name and make it less formal, perhaps as Peter Cartledge.

That way people could recognise me as my old user name is still visible.

What do others think?
