We all know that the subjects of Politics and Religion is banned by the forum manager on this Forum -- This we accept so don't post on those subjects.

Recently there have been other threads closed which do not breach the Community Guidelines but merely  because people might not all agree with each other on the thread.

Surely the object of any discussion thread is for various opinions to be posted and that obviously will result in varying ideas being expressed some which will be in direct opposition to others.

This is healthy and right and is what discussions are all about.

When did the rule of "there shall be no differences of opinion on this forum" come about.

Lets have healthy discussions and if the subject matter for some reason does not suit anybody (so long as it does not contravene the T@C's)  they don't need to participate on the thread.
