Some of you may have seen the post on Sunday departures that ran into over 2100 posts

I thought that as this is the longest post to date, and (in my view anyway) emcompasses all this is best in CT, ie witty banter, full and frank excahnge of views, helpful suggestions from both sides, and a topic that judging by the number of posts is important to most members, it would have got some mention in the CT bit of the letters page in the August club magazine?

No they printed what to put in your first aid kit when travelling.

Now I will admit this is a very important topic but not really a highy detabable or contenious topic, but it seems that the sort of topic that the clubs wants us to use CT for.

They can't even defend themselves with the time lag needed to put together the magazine as the editor talks about Andy Murray wining Wimbledon.
