What improvements would you like to see in CT

It would seem that apart from a bit of restyling there have been no functional changes made yet to Club Together, but it has been suggested elsewhere that further website changes might include improvements to CT.  So, in the spirit of constructive suggestion, here is my "to do" list of desirable changes.  Please add any that you feel are desirabe.  Hopefully, gathering all the suggestions in one place will make it easier for the web team to guage members' views.

1) The textarea box for entering and editing these comments needs to be much larger and/or resizable.

2) Line spacing in the box could be reduced slightly to keep more lines in view for any given box size.

3) The editing option should not disappear after a few minutes, but ideally remain available for all your posts whenever you are logged in.

4) The "silent signout" issue must be addressed.  It is infuriating to write a longish post, then, when you submit it, find you have been signed out and your post is lost when you sign back in.   There are several approaches to this.  My preference would be for an option to say how long I want to remain logged in, in my profile possibly.  Also, a pop-up window should be implemented when the system is about to log you out, warning you of the impending logout and giving the option to cancel this and remain logged in.

5) The new default log in page ("My Profile") issue needs addressing.  On the old site, if you were browsing CT and then decide to log in to post a message, after logging in you returned to the the page you were previously on.  The old system is far better than the new, please go back to it.

6) When a thread gets to have multiple pages there is a navigation menu at the bottom of each page. This should be available at the top of each page as well as the bottom, so that if you wish to move back through several pages you no longer have to scroll to the bottom of each new page to get to the next one.

7) The "Most Read" box is pointless because the threads never change.  Get rid of it, or replace it with threads that are more currently topical.  Not sure how these should be selected, perhaps others have views on this?
