Since the site revamp I'm unable to paste, I try to undertake the task in the normal way i.e. Ctrl+C then Ctrl+V and it does not work for me!  Is it me? or am I missing something? I would be most grateful for any advice, many thanks in advance.

Its strange! I can copy & paste from this site to word but not from word to here? i.e. since the site revamp, I wonder if it's because I'm on windows 7 and my word is 2003 version, maybe the 2003 word is not compatible with the new site for some reasoncry Many thanks for your help, at least I know its my end that is at fault.

Just managed to paste this! For some reason it does not seem to work for me using the standard method, but I’ve found another way of doing it, once again Chris, many thanks, as you managed to do it, it proved that the site is OK and the fault was mine.

For anyone who maybe having the same problem as I, try the following; Highlight your text, Ctrl+C then instead of Ctrl+V, right click on your mouse, scroll down to paste, then click!

Good luck

Good to know you found your solution & posted how to in case others may have the same problem.  Had forgotten about the facility to right click & paste so used to using Ctl +V.

Probably done to make it easier for people to read given the poor palette choice made for the site design.

Odd, because I find it more difficult to read than the standard text.

A question, why are all your posts in bold?

Posted on 08/01/2017 18:33

Personal choice.  Apologies to those who find it a problem to read.  We all have different eyesight. Maybe better contrast will turn up on CT in the future.

Don't have a problem reading standard text or Bold, maybe I'm lucky, the only negative with bold to me is; sometimes I print off correct technical answers to problems that have been posted, so I can revert back to that information at a later date within my notes. I don't store everything on my PC, Bold costs me more money in ink cry
