Stories - duplicates, triplicates, quadruplicates

I quite like to 'dip into' the stories area to see some of the interesting things folk have been getting up to. However, it gets more than a little frustrating when going back through the pages of story listings to find the same one taking up a whole page list, and sometimes two!

Is anyone (on the staff) looking into this area as well as the forum? It would make it easier when wanting to comment especially. If I find I want to comment I do view every occurence of the same story to find which one, if any, already has comments for it, and I make sure I comment into that one. It can be rather frustrating and time consuming to do so.

I do wonder whether this (and the slowness with which they come up) is putting many members off looking at these.
