Signing in

How does it work for others.

Up until recently my sign in details were always there as I'd ticked the "Remember my log in" box. However this now does not work. I have to enter my password every time. Only a small thing but why has it happened.

Also how long does the logged in time last for. Sometimes I may leave the computer and when I return I've been logged out. Just today I completed all the details for a ferry booking, I was called away unexpectedly and when I returned, you've guessed it, I'd been logged out and all the details were lost. Now that is annoying,

Would it not be possible to stay logged in until such time as you close down the page.
