(Moved from the Social Room as this is the correct section to discuss the functioning of the Forum and provide feedback)

We are getting more problems with threads where the moderators have removed posts, is it not possible just to remove the content and  leave a message ie '' Deleted User due to infringing T & C'' or similar, this should not then cause these page problems. The name of the poster will then be left which will indicate who if any are continually abusing the rules and those who make an error.

The autocratic closing of threads/discussions when the thread is many posts old is not really acceptable, if the moderation is carried out correctly and posts removed at the appropriate time then there is no reason why any thread is either removed or suspended. There have been a number of threads/discussions closed down recently which need not have been if correctly moderated
