The Welsh Government are considering introducing a visitor tax that would apply to camping, caravans and motorhomes if they stop at a site in Wales overnight. This tax could be added to the site fees although he amount has not been decided. There is a consultation which started in September and ends on the 13th December so there is not much time to respond. Agreed that is another way. I live on the South Coast in a large resort town and is very obvious in peek season day trippers will park anywhere to avoid paying for parking. Increasing already high parking charges will just push more cars onto on street parking creating another issue and not collecting the tourist tax.

Our LA has introduced permit parking in areas near the lakes to try to address that and commuter parking

It is good to see that some LAs are thinking of local residents. Another reason why  I think that collecting taxs via car parking charges is wrong and that is for the caravan members of the club, they will pay the tourist tax in their pitch price and then they go off site for the day and then to pay the tax again when they use a car park.

Something like this has to thoroughly planned and has to fair for all.

Thats just what I was going to post, but never say nothing will happen,CT its self is   still not fixed after several years of this clubs IT dept trying,?so never hold your breath

I had a problem in the past and it took seven years to get a result

Some companies just hope you will get fed and not bother it needs stamina to keep at it
