Most online forums have a PM (private message) functionality so that users can communicate with each other privately.  But I can't find one on here.  Have I missed something, or is it just not there ?

The other forums I use have a pm facility,  they also allow you to edit a post at any time. this place is very out of touch in that respect.

When this version of the forum was launched it was decided not to have a private messaging system built in and I am sure Rowena has said that it won't be added with the current software. I am sure the Community Manager will forward a message for you to another member but I would suggest this is only used as a last resort. Members can always add an e-mail address to their profile although I would say that if you do this don't do it as a clickable link.

Alas, there is no private messaging facility on this forum.  Even though we did express the need for it some considerable time ago, the IT team and or management must have decided against it.

Members of the forum are, however, free to add an email address to their profile and invite others to contact them directly.

Are there? I'm happy to be contactless, what you see is what you get.

I think it's nice that some have met up so in a friendly way a contact can be  useful. smile

Sorry I lost my quote that was in reply to Deleted User User.
