Yesterday I was able to change my Avatar without any resizing needed. Has there been an upgrade across the web site as this seems like a major improvement?

Funnily enough, Brue, I thought I would have a change for the New Year and I definitely needed resizing. In fact the photo I wanted played havoc with my PC so this is second choice, downsized!

Just posted and found old avatar!!!!! Back to drawing board. PC's , grrrr!

I think you can toss any size of picture in but a strange aspect ratio might challenge it. As I recall , the size will be reduced to fit the width available but there might be a limit on how tall a picture can be.

Sad Apologies and thanks to Jill...I must have randomly picked a photo that had already been reduced in size. Just tried another and I got the resize warning! Oh well back to the drawing board.Smile

And  they've  started  dumping  gravel  etc  in  the  river  to  "stabilize"  it  --  Probably / possibly  cause  some  form  of  flooding  if  they  are  not  careful  !
