New Blood in CT

I posted the following in the TV program thread -

"How nice it's been to see so many new and different posters taking part in this thread. There have been many, many threads knocking CC and presenting a negative image of caravanning and the Club to anyone reading the forum. Why have you waited until now to post?
Carry on posting and let's have an injection of new blood into CT. Goodness knows, it needs it."

So far there has only been one response which says that at last there is something worth commenting on. What is wrong with the forum that stops people posting? Is CT so dire that no other threads have been worth posting in? There have been plenty of contentious issues under discussion and people can start their own threads if they want to thrash out something different. Or, could it be that the general membership only want to harrumph and thus demonstrate that the long held image of a typical CC member is alive and well? I hope not.

Good point TinsterHappy. It will be interesting to see if it is lurkers or interested folk genuinely upset at events.

Yes, Rocky, it will. I hope they continue to post to demonstrate a commitment to helping CT present a good shop window for the Club.

I mentioned on page 18 of the caravan of the yr thread that the only positive thing to come out of that show was it brought and encouraged a lot of new poster's to the thread , and all very welcome they are to

Agree, good to see lots of members joining in, I suspect a lot do read, but takes something out of the ordinary (!) to get folks to post. Very little in the way of arguments or tit for tat posts as well, which makes it much more interestingHappy Like it used to be, after the purge that is, very early on!

Write your comments here...It was good long before the "mass thread deletions"  TTDA. , This, what we are seeing on the "TV programme" thread  was how the forum was at the start,  before the sad grumpies started complaining about humour and people having different opinions.

Wouldn't know K, only joined in April 2013, but I understand that it took a while to sort out some proper nastiness, ( racist, prejudices etc...) rather than the bit of rib poking that occurs nowadays.
