I've just seen the mystery liker has liked one of BB's posts, so that narrows it down considerably Laughing Wink

not very nice, Dave, and i brought a bit of levity to this mysterious thread.....Undecided

No malice intended BB, you happened to be the last 'like' posted by the mystery man Smile

Write your comments here...Is it a man though ?? or is it a hacker testing the system to find a way into the CC website.

One thing for sure -- it cannot be any of our ordinary members as they do not have any of the IT privileges granted to those further up the IT chain to be able to alter input to this forum.

OR -- Is there someone with IT rights and privileges  who has other interests conflicting with interests of this forum and wants it disrupted  ?.  Nothing can be discounted. but I cannot think of anybody. So I think we can forget that option just now. One thing is sure The person or organisation will be found out. BUT I'm sure the CC IT dept have more pressing issues than investigate who is posting "Likes"

In essense there are so many possibilities available to the conspiracy theorist that we could, if we were bothered, speculate all day

Yes hackers are well known for their habit of finding a back door into a system then 'liking' posts that are critical of the caravan club Undecided

Dave's suggestion is far more likely - you used to be able to have a user name with spaces but you can't anymore.  The mystery liker will probably have set the account up a long time ago and will eventually emerge in the glory of a full set of purple stars

You seem to have misunderstood what I have said.  It's not the first time so I'll say it again

The mystery liker has probably set up an account using spaces as the user name.  They are using this account to build up points.

At some stage when they have amassed enough they may emerge to post.

Nothing to do with hackers, nothing to do with current posters, IT specialists or possibly even aliens.  It's just someone being mischievous.  Surely you understand that K?
