Motorhome trouble

I assume this is the vehicle battery rather than the leisure battery as you’ve taken it to a Peugeot garage. Is the issue with charging it from the vehicle alternator or something to do with the interface with the MH electronics installation? If it’s the latter, I’d not expect a Peugeot garage to have a clue about it and you might be better off taking it to a MH specialist.

PS. I see it’s a new MH. In that case, the dealer you bought it from is responsible for getting it sorted. Despite their likely protestations, they sold you the whole vehicle and not just the MH part so are responsible under the Consumer Rights Act.

Which battery isn't charging....the vehicle battery or the leisure battery? Finding the solution to this issue shouldn't be difficult for any auto electrician in a few minutes with a multi meter.

If under warranty, the responsibility for sorting this lies with your selling dealer. If they wish to engage Peugeot or anyone else that's up to them...

tell them clearly that you need this issue resolved quickly or you will be seeking redress for the lost breaks etc.

"We bought our Motorhome new September 21 and having trouble with battery not charging it’s an elddis accordo 120 last October it had to be recovered by rac and taken to Pergeot for repair they put a new alternator in and we had it back till November last year when it wouldn’t start again we tried to look under the bonnet but that wouldn’t open so again it was recovered by the RAC again 8weeks later it still hasn’t been fixed … Pergeot specialist have been called in but still no Motorhome has anyone else had this problem ?"

Assuming it is the starter battery which is causing concern this should be an uncomplicated diagnoses, having worked in vehicle repair all of my life it was policy to keep the customer truthfully  informed of the stage at which the diagnoses and repair were at, something appears to be missing here is a warranty claim the problem or incompetent repairer ?.
