Any idea how to permanently get rid of this irritating orange pop up box (have a question) on the bottom left of my screen.  Seems to have started this morning.

Not seen any sight of it tonight. Perhaps HO have had enough of all the complaints and have just ditched the whole idea.... hopefully for ever....and given the idiot who thought of it a big kick up the proverbial too!!

I think that is somewhat unfair. Clearly the Club are trying to come up with ways of introducing this type of option to make it easier for some members to get access to information. To their credit they have listened to what we have said and amended and removed and no doubt are having another think. Sometimes its a case of best laid plans etc. These things need testing on real users which is what they have done, but they have listened.

These things need testing away from real users first to ensure that they actually work before being let out into the real world David!

Why anyone thinks it a good idea to have a damned pop up when there is already a FAQ button to do the same is anybody's guess. If it was thought necessary they could simply have highlighted said button.

A group of Beta type users made up of a few members could carry out the second level testing would be an idea.

I agree Oneputt. First level testing would not be a bad idea either.

Why should the FAQ pop up be needed on the FAQ page also?

Testing user patience perhaps?

I have seen the message 'Content removed' in threads where persons have taken umbrage against another for so called personal attack and/or name calling, yet here it is a free for all attack on the IT department.

Double standards or what!

What you are seeing M is a frank exchange of consumer views. Not an attack as such

If the Club wanted to make it easier to get info they would've sorted this poor attempt of a web site site long ago.
