How to Write a Postcard

Our first 'postcard' was written on a whim while sitting in some winter sunshine in Portugal in 2012. (Postcard from Alvor). Encouraged by the response, we've sent a few more since then!

We don't have an exclusive right to 'Postcards' in the 'Stories' section and would like to encourage others to post 'postcards'.

Postcards traditionaly have photos and a description of where you are. They're a greeting from where you are to friends back home: tell them about the weather, things of interest, amusing happenings, and a bit about your campsite.

Try to write in paragraphs or blocks so that the readers aren't faced with a big chunk of text to wade through.

It's time to let others have a go; however, we may just post a postcard once in a whileHappy
