Highjacking Topics

Why do members want to highjack topics. It is irritating when you are following a topic only for some members to go “Off Topic” and before you know it you are following a completely different thread. More frustrating when the member admits to going of topic. If you feel that what you have something to say ,please create another topic.

Must admit 'spk', your post made me smile Smile and I have been guilty of doing similar without being malicious as I'm sure you were. As for saying the thread is pointless, don't agree but just forget it and move on and shove in a few emoticons in future Wink

well I apologise if I have upset anyone with my deliberate hijack BUT I feel compelled to bring the forums attention that more likes have been posted to my and others humorous posts than those that have posted there feelings that humour and hijacking are unacceptable. I therefore conclude that miserable folk are out numbered by those of us with humour. Thankfully.

It depends what weight you place on Likes, spk, and whether you consider who's gone the liking.

I've just Liked yours, by the way.Happy

Well said, Dave. I'm all for humour but it was the pointless issue that I also didn't agree with.

Dave

yes your right I think with hindsight that remark was not worded very well and I do sincerely apologise to the op for that. what I meant was pointless in as much that one cannot stop conversation's going off topic its just the way humans interact.

tinwheeler

I liked your like so I liked you back, you are awful though ... But :)

you do realise you have now taken this off topic and onto the credibility of likes. There is currently another threw on this very subject you are therefore also guilty of duplication.
