Getting started on CT

I've been looking at people joining CT via the story section as there are a lot of mis-postings on there. I wonder if there should be some help out there on a big "introduction to the site" title page with each section described. For instance Stories with an explanation of ideas for this section, the Discussions with a description of what goes in there etc. Would this help people to find their way around more easily?
