Email address for Community Manager

Do the moderating team know that the email address for the Community Manager, which is shown in 'Communty Guidelines', isn't working?  Should this be changed on the guidelines to give members the opportunity to get hold of her should they need to?

Hi Val it has just worked for me I got an acknowledgement as she is out of the office till 26th June.  Hannah and Graham are in charge till then. The Community Manager Mail box is being monitored. 

What address were you using?

ValDa your link comes up page not found. But regarding the CM email I can't get a direct link from here either. I can use the link I've stored previously in my own email.

Yes, Brue, thanks.  I noticed that, and I've now changed it to show what is given on the Community Guidelines page.  I do think it needs changing though, to ensure that people are able to communicate with the Community Manager should they need to.

Hi Dianne - I used the one on the Community Guidelines page, community.manager@camc.com.   Apparently the correct address ends in .co.uk.

 According to my information    community.manager@camc.com is the correct email address.  I have checked by sending a test email to the address and I have recieved the usual 'holding' reply.  camc.com is correct.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Whilst Ro is on annual leave, I am monitoring the Community Manager inbox and just to let you know, I have received several emails from both email addresses today.

There does appear to be a crossover of email address here, so I will raise this with the IT team in the morning.

Well, I've just tried community.manager@camc.com (this time without copying and pasting), and it's still being returned with a message as follows:

community.manager@camc.com
The email address that you entered couldn't be found. Check the address and try resending the message. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else is having the same problems.

Perhaps they are trying to tell you something, ValDa.wink

Could it possibly be that you are no longer a CC member? Just a thought.

Perhaps I should take the hint though I may just be an 'incognito member'!cool.  I can't imagine, though, that both hotmail and gmail know whether or not I'm a member!
