CLs, lost reviews and ratings.

Since early December when the new web site was initiated it has become apparent that many CLs have lost reviews and ratings. Some now have absolutely nothing on their individual Club web page except basic details. Previously there were a few who didn't have any reviews etc and now there are many, but how many?

Will the Club explain via it's web site and magazine so that everyone is aware?

Rowena has picked up the other threads on this subject and passed them to IT. Do you think well ever hear? After all it has been passed to them several times before.

I really do hope that CL's get some decent treatment before too long and they jump ship to other clubs or go it alone!!!  I certainly wouldn't blame them, but I think the club would miss them a lot.

My understanding is that all older reviews of (two years seems to stick in the mind) CL's and Club sites were Deleted User in order to smooth the transition, possibly to save space, from the old to the new website. I have no idea if they are recoverable, I imagine they were backed up somewhere. It would be useful to have a definitive answer on this.

Thanks both, I realise this has been "picked up" several times but if the club don't know what has been lost it would be helpful to put a notice on the main CL search so that everyone knows. I presume all the CL owners have been contacted for feedback too?

I wasn't critising your post rather saying it's been raised time and again allegedly with IT but nothing has happened as far as I can see Web wide. Yes there was the explanation that they'd Deleted User the older ones and they'd attributed some to the wrong sites and they'd be rectifying the use.  They put the pink banner on CL sites and have reinstated some or stuck it on all CL sites regardless as it appears on some that do have reviews. They are looking into, allegedly allowing us to post replies on sites we've already reviewed. It certainly isn't fully fixed after 4 months!

When I chatted with a CL owner recently they weren't aware of any issues whatsoever so I fear they have not had the courtesy of knowing there are problems. I know those CL owners who regularly use CT have been making noises too.

The "thanks both" was just that, a thank you for replying smile I hope the club will consider some appropriate action and inform CL searchers on the web site.
