Cassette toilet door

The push-button catch on my external toilet door compartment recently stopped functioning,   On undoing the backplate everything fell out.   There does not appear to be anything broken or missing;   I think that one of the springs had moved from its proper location.   I have looked on the "net" but cannot find a decent diagram to show me how to put it back together.   The Thetford website is of no use.   Does anyone have a diagram which would be of help.

Thank you for your quick reply.   It is helpful although I am still trying to work out from the diagram how the parts fit together.    It has also helped with identifying a missing clip from the fridge vent.

Could you remove a different backplate from another locker door carefully and see the set up first hand?

If all else fails replacement locks are easily available and not very expensive.  Google, as always, is your friend.

Am reluctant to open the back plate on another door as the contents ejected very quickly before I got a chance to observe how they fitted together.   I have looked on Google and so far have only seen a picture of the locking catch rather than the push-button one and I am unable to get a clear idea of how the parts fit together.   There are three springs involved and it looks like a job for a spare pair of hands!

I think it is a Door 3 lock you are talking about.

Good luck.

Thank you for your various pieces of advice.   It looks as though my best course of action will be to take the door off its hinges and lay it flat whilst trying to reassemble the catch.   Our van is kept on a storage site some miles away so it is not so easy as having it at home where tools (if needed) would be readily available.   The contacts give above may well prove useful.   Thank you
