Does anyone else have a problem with this website using Internet Explorer?

Every time I log on or change heading  I get a message saying Internet Explorer has stopped working, close aplication.  Very annoying!

David, I hate to be boring but the list of problems is long if using IE 11 on this forum.

There is no such problem on any other site that I use....about 6 on a day to day basis and quite a few more on a weekl;y basis.

I use 3 different computers with W7, W8.1 and W10.....all with IE 11. The problems are the same on all with this forum.....and other PCs before.....but no problems at all with the CC site in general.

I see you use another browser and not IE!

PS. Three efforts on this post to effect one spelling edit

I can only speak as I find and on Caravan Talk/Motorhome Talk if I wish to post a link in IE11 I have to activate the BBCode mode, which works but should not be required. Likewise photographs have to be loaded in the same mode. Have you tried Chrome?

I have never been on either of the two sites you mention presumably if they have the same problems as this forum they are possibly the same build!

I have only ever used IE from the beginning and with every version of Windows. Never seen the need for alternatives as they have worked as well as any other method.

My frustration with the CC forum is total and sadly aggravated by people who are happy to settle for all it's faults......which is the bit I don't understand!

I've wisely Deleted User most of my finger tapping  and will try and not mention this subject again....thanks for your comments and obviously the work you put in to the forum.

You should be using Mozilla Firefox...did you know that Chrome is bloated with tracking code...and as for using Windows...you should all be trying Linux if all you do is surf and use facebook and read emails.

I have always used Chrome on here with Windows XP, Vista. 7 and now 10 always had trouble with IE.  For this Forum I have to use Safari on the iPad and iPhone..Another Forum I use it is a doddle can use any and post photo's, links and copy and paste without problems.

@TinWheeler some people should be told....as most people have no idea how to use a Windows PC safely :-)

Should, nothing!

Your arrogance in suggesting people don't know what they are doing is astounding.

How about a helpful suggestion worded politely?
