Hello all

We are in the process of opening our new caravan park. From people experience what is the best/easiest/most efficient booking system that sites use?

All advise and help on this topic will be greatly appreciated.

Thank guys.

Sam

Moderator Comment - Sam as this refers to a CL I will move this to the CL section and close the one you started in the Story Section

Sam, I suggest you join the CL Owners Group.  We now have over 500 members and are growing day by day.

More info here:  https://sites.google.com/view/cl-owners-group/home

The group has a lot of experience of on-line booking systems.  Over 30 CLs have now implemented them.

Free-to-book is popular, but so are systems from 'Anytime Booking' and 'InnStyle', to name just 3.  A new one has also just been launched.

Many members welcome the opportunity to see availability and book online.  The Club are talking about integrating CLs into a future online booking system, but I think it is 2 or 3 years away from reality.

Meantime, I suggest you have a chat within our group where your questions on booking systems, pricing, marketing, etc. etc can be answered.  Join here.

We're a friendly, free and professional group, some with many years experience and always happy to share hints and tips on making a CL both profitable for you and a good experience for your customers.

ABOUT US

The CL Owners Group is run by volunteers, we are all CL Owners ourselves. It's free to join and there is no subscription.

The intention of the group is to offer advice and support to fellow CL Owners across the UK and thereby help to enhance the CL Network for the benefit of CAMC Members.

The Owners Group liaises with the Club on a regular basis, but is entirely independent. It receives no financial support or direction from the Club.

Sam -first of all good luck in your new venture. It's people like you that are giving us a thriving CL network. Thank you.

Three night stays would unfortunately be no good to us as we're still working, so Friday / Saturday stops for a weekend are most of our nights away.

Please see the link below of a local CL website. You can book and pay online and each day of the calendar tells you how many pitches are available. A great way of knowing that your booking will be secure as soon as you want to book.

good luck smile

With prices like that it's no wonder they can afford such an elaborate web site!!

And Mr Plumber or Mrs Electrician, who like to take a family away in a caravan, but cannot afford a separate tow car, and need to tow with their company van (with Mr Plumber or Mrs Electrician written on its side) would not be welcome. What snobbery.

To be fair the weekday prices of £20 are probably not too bad with regard to the facilities. Could do with some planting though

Looks good value for what it provides. Certainly one to consider for a 3 night  break at only 57 miles from home. Looks like there is a reasonable walk into Louth and Mablethorpe has some MH parking.😀

Way above what I'd pay on a CL, and even extra if one has a dog!! I won't pay for that on principle, or the quoted price on a CC site either. Plenty of other choise to suit us and our pocket.
