AVG warnings using Firefox

For a little while now, I am getting a "high memory usage" warning when browsing the forum from AVG. I am running the latest version of Firefox in Windows XP. Has anyone else experienced this. I am wondering if this is as a result of the Club's insistence on using an idiosyncratic bit of software rather than conventional Forum software. I don't get this message at any other time, only while using CT. I am beginning to suspect that as the Club's servers fill up with posts, the program code is somehow accessing everything in order to build the pages. Is this yet another example of CC rubbish IT deployment?
