Avatar Tutorial?

I'll add I am using a laptop just now, windows 10 chrome. No problems with typing errors on my phone. Hope the OP can resolve the avatar issue.

Cleared browsing history & avatar changed in CT discussions here but not on my profile yet.  I got the following there. Floating over jigsaw piece these words appeared ‘Adobe Flash Player’ Maybe new avatar will also show there soon.

It can take quite a long time for changes to appear. (I've solved my @ issue I'd somehow gone onto USA settings.)

I'll change my avatar now and see how long it takes.

OK, got there. Resized photo. Then went into change photo, hunted for the one I'd resized then clicked on it. Nothing happened so I pressed refresh (F5) still nothing. So I cleared my browser history, hey presto! 

brue -  Good to see ‘@ problem sorted & you changed your avatar OK.  My profile avatar has now changed so will send email to CT manager to say problem solved as I thought it may be a problem with the site but turned out to be me not clearing history.  Hope I remember in the future to do this.

I think it should work without clearing history but this seems to solve the problem at the moment.

I am rather attached to mine.
