After many months of asking (via Customer services) for the IT department to address the 'Adobe Flash Player End of Life' ....in order that members can remove/amend their profile picture....and not one reply received.....I have today made a final request via the 'live chat'.

The agent says she will forward (again) my request to the relevant management team....and In response I have given a weeks grace before I send a note to the DG..   I will keep you informed.

FYI (if not aware)...It is now over a year since Adobe first gave notice that Adobe Flash Player will no longer be supported (EoL) after 31 December 2020...

Despite doing CMD+Shift+R, Brue is still the CO of the battleship Potemkin although TDA does seem to have gone to the dogs.

On my iPad even after clearing cache and logging in again, it is still a dog. Most strange.

Have you made sure that no other devices are logged in or active on the same site.  Best switch the lot off and start again.

On the same site no. On the same router lots. Most folks and my own have changed. Probably just a CT glitch. I don’t mind if it takes a while.😀

It's interesting, back on my Android phone R&R have reverted back to a dog.

Posted on 10/03/2021 19:18

I have your change brue, but R&R is a dog too not a CS site.

Profuse apologies, everyone.  I've been playing silly devilssmile  Having been unable to change my avatar since I came on here because I use a Mac - and therefore didn't support Flash player - I've been having a field day.  Thought the CS view was a bit boring, so Meg has now returned!

What does Cmd+Shift+R do, Cy?

No it's more to do with the CT set up. At present, on Android SteveL's is back to his previous avatar.

On my Android phone I see Steve's new pic. Don't forget that Android is tweaked by the various installers of it - Samsung, Fire, Huawei etc - so the versions may not all act in the same way.

I am using an iPad, not a particularly up to date one either. Previously, it wouldn’t even start to change avatar, insisting on Adobe, then all the faff with photos under 500kb. All I did the other day, having noticed folks were changing, was go to profile, choose a replacement photo, click on it and it changed in my profile. You do have to remember to save the change at the bottom of the profile page. Then I repeatedly cleared my cache merely by clicking on rotating arrow in bar at top of screen. The change did take a few attempts, and around 10 minutes before I finally appeared in buzzard luring form😂 I could previously only change it using Mac Book, and had to ensure photo had been downsized below 500kb, had never done it via IPad.

All I can see on your avatar at present is two dogs, is that correct?  On mine now you should see five birds, four female one male.  Guess which are which laughing.

Edit: Yours has just changed to one inverted pooch.
