A Suggestion

Because of the difficulties that members are having with this "new" website couldn't those at the HO's IT Dept just close down the CT and other sections that are not visited frequently or do not provide a financial benefit to the club so that they can concentrate on sorting out all the problems in the UK Holiday section, especially with regards to CLs. The sites are the raison d'etre of the club and surely these should be of the utmost importance. There are relatively few members who post on a regular basis on CT, 200 perhaps...maybe 400 at the most, whereas there are tens of thousands who use the UK Holiday section.

I suspect it doesn't work like that. So many parts of the website are interconnected it might even have the opposite effect. The IT Department will no doubt have a plan which they are working to and to change that might be counter productive. Some of you, no doubt will suggest it couldn't be any worse going by some of the comments but we don't know that. Perhaps we should ask Rochelle to request from the IT Department a bit of background on how they are tackling things and in what order and perhaps why they have to be in that order?
