What do you do on Windy Nights?!

We have just come back from a weekend away at the Chatsworth House CC site (its great by the way) and on Saturday the night the wind got up and and started to "buffet" the van quite badly at times. My wife is only a light sleeper and the wind together with the deluge that was now coming down as well woke her and then of course I was woken as well!

In these case we always admit defeat and pop the kettle on having  a good cup of tea and of course a couple of ginger nuts (we always have a supply in the van) before trying to get back to sleep. It usually works and a can resume my much needed beauty sleep.

Just had me wondering what any one else does on windy weather beaten nights when you are awakened?
