A letter under the above heading appears in the latest Caravan Club magazine. The writer suggests that by raising the jockey wheel when parked, an unacceptable load is being put on the corner steadies.

Surely if the caravan is standing on two wheels they are taking the weight and the corner steadies are doing just that... steadying. . Irrespective of the position of the jockey wheel.

Am I misunderstanding something or have I been doing something awful for the past 40 years.
