dont know what flow is or costs, my solution, open drain tap under front bunk and all internal taps, wind down jockey wheel, go have a coffe, return, close all taps, job done.  some say leave taps to sinks etc open, never have and never had a problem.

What you have done only drains the boiler there is still water in the pipes which can freeze what Floe does is puts pressure in the pipes to empty them

I put my head in the sink and blow in tap so no flow just plenty of blow

sorry.....you are referring to central heating via a Combi boiler, i only have blown air central heating, water tank only supplies the tapslaughing

Beside the boiler drain point my hot and cold pipes also have a drain tap. Just open them up and open the sink taps, job done. Just as MM and Rufs posted.smile

I could get the OH to blow down the sink tap but don’t want to damage the pipework.laughing
