I edited my pic from "pictures" stored on my PC Windows 10. I highlighted the photo, clicked on edit in the toolbar and then clicked on "resize" (two small overlapping box symbols on the left of the toolbar.) Then reduced the top line pixels to 500. Not that it has improved the pic but anything larger won't be accepted on here. frown

It is not the physical size of the picture which restricts posting but the size required to store it. Keep this below 500K and any picture no matter what dimensions will upload. If you right cick on posted images and select "view image" you can see it actual size.

This is a great post and thread, it has encouraged me to 'have a go' at uploading pictures of our Scotland trip in 2014 and where we are going back to next year.  ''Going in now Sir''

Brilliant, it worked, well done AD for starting this thread. I have some old photos of my first caravan (a 1970s Europa) that I have been wanting to share on here but could not find how to upload, but now I can.

AD, I was interested to see your picture of the Eagles Nest, somewhere I have wanted to visit. I have not camped in Germany since the early 80s. how do you find camping in Germany now? Since I have have got slightly older I have lost that impulsiveness of 'lets just go' and have not taken the van across the water since the early 80s.

View from our van, 2015 wild camping for a couple of days in  Southern Netherlands.  There was a mobile diner a couple of hundred yards behind us.
