Truma printed circuit boards

Bought new Motorhome 5 years ago, it has a water boiler which should work on gas and electric, never used it on gas as always use campsites here and abroad, but at last habitation service was told the pcb is faulty, couldn’t understand this so sent pcb back to Truma who said that it was faulty and I could buy another one from a dealer. Price of new pcb £189 approx. half price of new boiler. So as we don’t need the boiler on gas have decided not to buy another which might go same way as other. My point is this “ In these days of technology surely Truma could use better quality boards and where has service to customer gone, a part exchange price would be more business like“.apparently there are many people with the same faulty pcb’s. Sorry to bore you I’m sure you all suffer the same with other parts of your MH or caravans.
