Suitable tow vehicle

I am thinking of changing my car to a Skoda Karoq 190 ps 2 litre petrol engine 4 wheel drive with a Dsg gearbox. I have previously towed using an Audi Q3 TDI 184 bhp 4 wheel drive automatic and was wondering if the Karoq was a suitable vehicle as it is not a Diesel engine. I would welcome some feedback from other people who are towing with petrol cars. I am towIng a 7.54m Swift Ace Globetrotter with a MTPLM of 1491kg. The kerb weight on both vehicles is very much the same
