Storm Straps

With the recent Open University courses on Club Together threads, I was wondering if there was a optimum angle for hammering into the ground the pegs themselves. Also would the angle be altered dependent on the moisture content of the ground, and peg length relationship to strap length.

90 degrees to strap angle sounds about right?

Thanks for any replies smile

90 degree angle is good. Sponge under areas that might rub awning good, Tethering of dog to strap? Bad, if anything larger than a Chihuahua!

I self marked this course module, got 10/10!wink
