Have the powers that be decided it's up to us whether we have log off from the forum rather than having to 're log on ever 30 secs? I've not logged on once today 😊

I hope that the permanent or at least daily log in continues. Far better. OK I expect my bank to log me out automatically after a period of inactivity but there are no financial implications on this forum and it is open to WWW to view. Automatic log off at short interval makes no sense to most users I suspect.

I usually close the browser down once I have finished looking at Club Together so in those circumstances you seem to need to log in again. However last night I left the browser open and I did indeed remain logged in for a second session a couple of hours later, interesting. Whether this is by accident or design I don't know but if it was by design I would have imagined someone might have told us?

The Club have always maintained that not logging out would leave members vulnerable as once logged on all profile information and advance bookings could be seen, especially if the computer was in a workplace. So, as I say, not sure what has changed to allow no time out?

The comments from a staff  member about "big brother" on another thread leave me bewildered. Are the club going to respond to this query I wonder, as it seems to be an important change or error on some systems.

I'm having to log in every time I come back on my Samsung phone. So definitely not universal.

I find that on my iPad I cannot stay logged on for very long but on my pc the login is saved permanently.

On android I am not logged in permanently. On my laptop my log in details are being saved but I have not requested this to happen. I always log out.

I have just tried to delete the log in details but they re-appear, not happy about this at all.

Does anything surprise regular users to CT? The website is definitely one on its own!

Could be you have inadvertently clicked on the box that appears when your browser requests if you want them saved. There are so many tick boxes, ones to accept cookies  etc, that it is easy to do. Where they are saved will depend on the browser, on the iPad they are all in a protected file.

It is clearly personal preference. I always reject saving when there are links to bank accounts etc. However, with the CAMC I am happy to save login details, as there are no expensive security implications.

First thing today I was logged out about every 5 to ten minutes. Just came back to it after a couple of hours and it was still logged in. Very strange.

Just in case others haven't yet noticed, this entire thread is now duplicated in the Chat section. I for one will not be making any bookings for the time being, you just can't trust the software!
