Should I keep my socks on?

Yhis weekend, 10th-12 Feb, we're off on our first rally of the season with Suffolk centre. We have the use of a heated hall and there should be a lot of lurve on Saturday at our Valentines evening. The weather forcast shows the overnight temperatures are going to be around -5C so I hope my batteries don't go flat as that means the heating goes off. Now, I normally sleep as nature intended but as it is going to be so cold do you think I should keep my socks on?
