(Moved from Social Room)

I wonder if I am the only person to purchase something for my caravan, for example an awning and six months later go on holiday with it and find it does not appear fit for purpose. I write and complain. I get a reply, the awning needs to be weathered by rain before it performs properly. A year goes by before we go off on holiday again, only to find the awning fails to do its job. Its now out of guarantee  and too late to have anytihing done about it. A similar experience happened when I had my caravan serviced.  When we went away next, which was several months later, I find the problem that I drew attention to - is still there. I feel duped. Unless you are a regular caravaner, you do not put things to a working  test until the next holiday especially if the caravan is in storage..It seems too late to complain then.
