I have never heard of ferries going to Maderia so I googled it and it came up with >this<. It looks like the only way is to put the motorhome in a container and travel as a passenger on the ship?

I am not sure I would want to take a motorhome to Maderia. What little I have seen of it, it is very mountainous with lots of narrow roads. Would it not be betteer to fly there and hire a car?

Have been going to Madeira for 20 years and never seen a Motorhome but perhaps the OP wants to live in it. North to South from Funchal is now good but the rest of the island is hopeless for driving. You can fly TAP from Lisbon - that’s “Take Another Plane”.
