Only saw the first half-hour as OH's preference for "Endeavour" took precedence. As posted above, seemed more realistic than the concocted humour of previous offerings. Will catch up with the rest of it at some stage. Could be a series worth sticking with.

Do we know when this was filmed?, where are all the people, camp sites are empty. I knew it was going to be stage managed when they drove off with what looked like maps or papers on the table, which mysteriously vanised and not on to the floor , I wonder how much they are getting paid for making this program, look forward to next episode if only to keep me interested looking for obvious errors

Posted on 07/08/2021 08:15 by SteveLOnly came in half way through, but enjoyed it and have set next weeks up to record. They did find that parking space at the RH&D railway easily though, I wish I could do that.😂

Posted on 07/08/2021 09:08 by brueI enjoyed it, predictable but entertaining. If only the rest of us could park up so easily to see places! Will look forward to the next programmes.

agreed, ive seen far, far worse camping programs.....
but like all of them, they dont get much time to go into detail about the places they visit....or how they get to park so easily!
the one outside the lifeboat station in Whitstable (for the oysters) was actually on the yellow lines next to the up and over orange door!....
i wonder what the fine would be for us mere mortals?

How refreshing to watch a TV programme not based, yet anyway, on making a complete mockery of the hobby.

The scripted sketch of Paul Merton fumbling with his first attempt to plug his cable in was an indication of what was to come. Knocking a bit off an expensive looking wing mirror and then thumping it back into place was pure theatre. We both decided the programme was not really about motorhoming and so switched off. From the other comments it appears we missed the good bits as a result
