Off Road Mobility Scooter for Campers / Caravaners

If you're someone who has difficulty walking you'll know finding a suitable scooter that's transportable & also up to the job of negotiating campsites & beyond is nigh on impossible. Either the wheels are so small they bury themselves in soft terrain or the scooter is so big you need a trailer, that's even before we talk about real world battery range. Well now there seems to be an answer from American Company Pride, I'm not sure where they are actually made but knowing how the Americans love a court case I'd guess the quality is pretty good.

The Baja Bandit isn't cheap but if it helps you enjoy your caravanning holidays & get out & about during them ..... what price do you put on that. So - although it weighs around 90kg it breaks down into 4 bits the largest being 900mm x 700mm, at 32kg it'll probably need 2 to lift it. They say with just one battery and a 15st rider it will do 10 miles plus, solid tyres so no awful punctures to worry about. Its not going to be up to the likes of the Tramper or Terrain Hopper but looks like it will cope with most nature trails such as those on National Trust etc.
