Last year we went to Cumbria for 2 weeks in July and ended up coming home after 9 days because of continuous rain. Same in August, 2 weeks at Beddgelert and came home saturated after 9 days. After the past week here in Cornwall, and the forecast for next week, I'm beginning to think that this caravanning malarkey ain't for us anymore. Driving rain, gusting wind and bitter cold and they say it's not going to stop until tonight. That means I've got to dress up like a lifeboatman twice more to take the dogs for their ablutions. By morning it's going to be raining again ... aaaaarghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!   even my bloody toes are now webbed.
