Well, I've just had the email saying we have to register with the nhs test and trace app when arriving on site. As a couple we own standard old school phones which don't have the app facility so are we now discriminated against and can't enjoy our hobby?

I do have a QR reader downloaded on my phone, but have not used it in earnest yet.

I think the email sent out from the club could have been a bit more user friendly but if you have a smart phone it saves too much personal contact at site receptions just now....I know this might affect you personally but the rest of us don't need to know everything that's going on , do we?

You will need to download the Scottish NHS App Nellie. It’s different to the England/Wales one. Then when you cross the Border, delete the Scottish one, and download the English one.
Just as an aside, I understand that the English App failed to inform Londoners they had moved into Tier 2 this morning, another glitch on the system.

The email and information page that it leads you to isn't very good at explaining things. The club is dreadful at Communicating their message in the same way as their website is third rate and some of their working practices haven't evolved from the 1950s.
The point made on the information page does seem to indicate that all members would have to sign in and use the NHS app whereas the reality is that you should use it if you have the app installed, if not then someone with a Quill and Ink pot to hand will take your details.
