Does anyone have any trouble with wheels skidding on Milenco Triple ramps?

We used to have some.fiamas but found on thay on some sites they weren't high enough however these Milenco's are terrible. They either slip before driving onto the.or the wheels skid when going from.one level to another.

Are we doing something wrong here 🤔

TIA

Sara

Not the same ramps, mine are a gradual slope up and yellow. I use a mover and when the tyres are wet, the tyre to ramp does tend to slip. The only work around I have found, is to have the mover drive only the ramp side up and push sideways on the A frame to help it get up, whilst she stands by with a chock.

Plastic is not good for grip - I have been thinking it might be worth trying to paint them with something and adding grit to the paint. A similar idea to how the paint boat decks with gritted paint for more grip underfoot.

We had exactly that problem, those ramps are useless! Changed to Mlenco Quatro which have an open waffle finish on the top which gives much better grip.

We were on a site and struggling and another owner had had the same problem and changed to.

I used to have a pair of the standard Milenco cheese wedges ad could not get on with them. I swapped to a FROLI wedge and chock set and have had no problems.

Our Milenco ramps are confusingly called triple 2 and have the open waffle design. Certainly not had any problem with slipping. No problems getting on or going between the levels. However, although I have used them with wet tyres, never muddy up to now. Although I would have thought the surface should grip OK.
