Killer LION spotted on a Caravan Club site?

Just read in the daily newspaper that a caravanner spotted a lion 150yds from her caravan.

From the story and the pictures I’m guessing that this was at the Earls Hall Farm CL, Essex?

I’m taking this story with a pinch of salt however as there as been no other mention of this on CT, that's right not one complaint about a killer lion!

Just in case it is true though I thought I best share the newspapers top four tips on ‘How To Survive A Lion Encounter’ (with a bit of a CT twist)

  1. DON’T threaten it: (Even if it walks across your pitch) Big cats tend to lash out when they feel threatened.
  2. DON’T shout: (Even if it’s breaking the 5mph speed limit)If you startle a lion, it is more likely to attack you.
  3. DON’T run: (Even to stop it reserving a pitch before you)The lion may think you are prey and give chase.
  4. DON’T go towards it: (Even if its cubs are playing near the toilet blocks)Lions should never be approached, especially those with cubs.

Good Luck!Smile
