How did the manufacturers come up with that name?

I have always been puzzled  about some of the caravan manufacturers ideas for a good name for their products- for instance, Pastiche - if you look up the definition of this word, it means 'an incongruous combination of materials, forms, motifs, etc., taken from different sources; hodgepodge' - hardly a good name for encouraging punters to lay down their hard earned money and buy it? What do you think?
