Incidenly, last year in France, the couple opposite us on one site never removed their front cover for the 2-3 days we saw them.

It was really hot, so maybe this was to keep the interior cool?

I may be tempting fate but in over thirty two years of towing we have never had any damage, but it can happen. Basically you have to look at the price and decide if the reduction in risk is worth it to you.

We bought a cheap universal towing cover from EBay (£68) because we weren't sure of its benefit but having seen the amount of muck and bug impacts on it; after even a relatively short tow; that would otherwise be on the caravan we are well and truly sold on it's advantages. No black marks and easily fitted.

We'll be buying a Tow Pro + from Specialised Covers as soon as finances allow.

Wouldn't go out without one. No more mud and muck splashed  van to clean when arriving on site and no more stone chips!!
